Introduction
 I am an associate professor of Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley, and affiliated with the Mathematics Department at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
 My current research interests are in highorder methods for fluid and solid mechanics, in particular techniques based on the Discontinuous Galerkin method.
 My 3DG Software package is based on new discretization techniques and efficient solvers, which I apply to problems in aerodynamics and solid dynamics, such as aeroacoustics, biologically inspired flapping flight, wind tubines, and micromechanical devices.
